Smart Auto-Detect and In-Depth Scan

On supported Kawasaki motorcycles, the MT V6 can automatically identify available motorcycle or ECU information and begin an in-depth system scan.

Automatic identification is not available on every model. Manual motorcycle or ECU selection may still be required where VIN or control-unit information cannot be retrieved.

OE-Level Kawasaki Motorcycle Diagnostics

The MT V6 scans supported electronic control units fitted to compatible Kawasaki motorcycles. It can retrieve and clear diagnostic trouble codes, display ECU information and stream live sensor data.

Coverage may extend beyond engine and ABS systems to meter/instrument systems, electronic suspension or damping, smart systems, radar, auto high beam, exhaust control and other supported body or chassis modules.

Meter and ECU Information

Access supported meter and control-module information, including identifiers, part numbers, calibration data and available live values.

This can help confirm which control unit is fitted and provide useful information before repair, replacement, coding or further diagnosis.

Advanced Bi-Directional Tests

Bi-directional control, also known as an actuation or active test, allows the scanner to send commands directly to supported Kawasaki systems and components.

Depending on the motorcycle, this can help test fuel pumps, valves, relays and other electronically controlled components without immediately dismantling the bike.

VIN Writing and Supported Configuration Procedures

Selected Kawasaki motorcycles may provide VIN-writing, correction-angle reset, calibration or other configuration procedures through supported control modules.

The exact menu options depend on the model, year, ECU software and systems fitted. VIN writing should only be used where appropriate during supported module replacement or configuration work.
