Upgrade the factory white daytime-running-light signature to a distinctive yellow / amber DRL appearance with this matched 6-piece LED light-source PCB set. Designed for compatible BMW 3 Series F30 and F31 LCI LED headlights, plus selected matching F34 applications, the set replaces the internal LED light-source boards while retaining the original headlamp assemblies.

The kit contains three different PCB types, with two of each supplied to cover both headlamps. It is intended for headlights using the related BMW OE references 63117419610 and 63117419615. Always compare the original boards, connectors and headlamp specification before ordering.

Board set supplied

The HF BCP.053 kit is supplied as a complete 6-board set comprising:

• 2 × 63117419610Y 3-pin LED boards
• 2 × 63117419610Y 6-pin LED boards
• 2 × 63117419615Y-type LED boards

This provides the three different light-source PCB designs required across the two matching headlamp assemblies.

Vehicle compatibility

Designed primarily for compatible BMW 3 Series F30 and F31 LCI models fitted with the matching LED headlight system and related OE references. Selected F34 applications may also use this board family, but the original headlamp specification must be checked before ordering.

The BCP.053 set is intended for the later F30-family LED headlight configuration. Because BMW used different headlight specifications within the same chassis range, fitment should always be confirmed by comparing the original boards and associated OE references rather than relying on vehicle model or registration year alone.

Yellow / CSL-style appearance

These boards change the visual DRL output from the standard white appearance to a distinctive yellow / amber motorsport-style look. This appearance is often described in the aftermarket as CSL-style yellow DRLs.

CSL-style describes the appearance only and does not mean that this product is an original BMW CSL component.

Not included: complete headlamp assemblies, aluminium control-module housings, additional electronic control units, fixings, tools, thermal-interface materials or fitting consumables unless specifically shown and stated.

Installation notes

• Professional installation by an automotive lighting or electronics specialist is strongly recommended.
• These are internal headlamp circuit boards rather than complete external control modules.
• Disconnect the vehicle battery and follow the manufacturer's repair procedure before removing or opening headlight electronics.
• Carefully compare each replacement PCB with the original board before fitting.
• Inspect the headlamp for moisture ingress, corrosion or failed seals before installing new electronics.
• A replacement board will not cure a headlamp fault caused by unresolved water ingress, wiring damage or another defective component.
• Transfer or renew thermal-interface material where required by the original headlamp design.
• Do not touch, contaminate or damage the LED emitters during installation.
• After installation, clear stored lighting faults where required and confirm that all headlamp functions operate correctly.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a complete BMW headlight control module?

No. This product consists of internal LED light-source PCBs. It does not include the aluminium module housing, external driver unit or complete headlamp.

How many boards are supplied?

Six boards are supplied. The kit contains three different PCB types, with two of each type intended to cover both compatible headlamps.

Does the set include both 3-pin and 6-pin boards?

Yes. The BCP.053 set includes 63117419610Y-type boards in both 3-pin and 6-pin configurations, together with the 63117419615Y-type board.

Does this fit every BMW F30 or F31?

No. BMW used different headlight systems depending on model, production date and equipment specification. The original PCB design, connector arrangement and headlight type must match.

Will it fit an F34 GT?

Selected F34 applications may use related LED headlight components, but F34 headlights vary considerably. Fitment should only be confirmed where the original boards and related OE references match.

Will these work with Adaptive LED headlights?

The related BMW OE module family is used in selected LED and Adaptive LED headlight configurations. The physical boards and connector arrangement must still match the original parts before fitting.

Will coding be required?

The light-source boards themselves are hardware replacement components and do not normally contain vehicle coding. However, fault-code clearing, additional diagnosis or headlight calibration may still be required depending on the vehicle and the original fault.

Are these genuine BMW parts?

No. These are aftermarket replacement / conversion LED light-source boards designed for compatible BMW headlight applications.

Are the yellow DRLs road legal in the UK?

No road-use approval is claimed. UK MOT requirements specify white output for daytime running lamps, so these yellow / amber boards are sold for show and off-road use.
