On supported Honda motorcycles, the MT V6 can automatically identify available motorcycle or ECU information and begin an in-depth system scan.

Automatic identification is not available on every model. Manual motorcycle or ECU selection may still be required where VIN or control-unit information cannot be retrieved.

OE-Level Honda Motorcycle Diagnostics

The MT V6 scans supported electronic control units fitted to compatible Honda motorcycles. It can retrieve and clear diagnostic trouble codes, display ECU information and stream live sensor data.

Coverage may extend beyond engine and ABS systems to electronic suspension, traction control, instrument displays, vehicle-speed sensors, handlebar switches, exhaust valves and other body or chassis modules.

Module Information and ECU Identification

Retrieve supported control-module information such as module identifiers, part numbers, calibration data and other ECU details.

This can help confirm which control unit is fitted and provide useful information before repair, replacement or further diagnosis.

Advanced Bi-Directional Tests

Bi-directional control, also known as an actuation or active test, allows the scanner to send commands directly to supported Honda systems and components.

Depending on the motorcycle, this can help test fuel pumps, valves, relays and other electronically controlled components without immediately dismantling the bike.

Supported Learning and Adaptation Procedures

Selected Honda motorcycles may provide additional learning, calibration or adaptation procedures through their supported control modules.

The exact menu options depend on the model, year, ECU software and the systems fitted to the motorcycle.
