HIDS-DIRECT PROBEAM™ 2-Inch Bi-LED Projector Lens Pair

The HIDS-DIRECT PROBEAM™ 2-inch Bi-LED projector lens pair is designed for custom headlamp conversions where compact dimensions, a controlled dipped-beam cut-off and integrated high-beam performance are required.

Each projector combines low and high beam illumination in one unit, with a rated 30W dipped beam and 40W main beam. The compact rear-base design can be used in suitable cars, motorcycles, scooters, vans, 4x4s, ATVs and specialist vehicle builds.

Important: these are universal retrofit projectors rather than direct replacement bulbs. Headlamp opening, modification, wiring, resealing and professional beam alignment may be required.

Compact Rear-Base Retrofit Design

Measuring approximately 80 × 50 × 40mm, the PROBEAM™ projector is designed to deliver projector-style lighting performance without the bulk of many larger retrofit assemblies.

The rear-base mounting arrangement works with the supplied adaptor bases and installation hardware. Headlamp depth, internal clearance, mounting stability and access for the cooling fan must be checked before installation.

Integrated Dipped and Main Beam Performance

The low beam is rated at 30W and 1600 lumens ±10%, while the main beam is rated at 40W and 2400 lumens ±10% per projector.

Actual output and the final beam pattern depend on electrical supply, installation quality, projector orientation, headlamp condition and correct beam alignment.

Suitable Retrofit Applications

The compact housing and 9V–60V DC operating range make PROBEAM™ suitable for many specialist lighting projects, subject to available space and correct installation.

Professional Retrofit Installation Recommended

Installing projector lenses normally requires the headlamp to be removed, opened, modified and resealed. The projector must be mounted securely, wired correctly and aligned before use.
