We hope to guarantee your satisfaction on any products that are purchased from us (HIDS Direct Ltd). However, if this is unfortunately not the case please read carefully through the following:

With the implementation of the EU Consumer rights directive, consumers in the UK now have 14 days for unwanted goods and 30 days for faulty/damaged goods to exercise their right of withdrawal from a distance contract or off premises contract (including internet sales) without the need to justify and at no cost (except supplementary costs).

We ask that you contact us and return the goods (using a tracked service) within 30 days of receipt. A full refund including postage cost will be issued, providing the goods are in an un-used condition and in original packaging.

  • It's important that any unwanted item, unless faulty, is returned in its original condition. We'd expect this to mean that you've kept all original packaging and labels, and that it's undamaged and unused

If you've changed your mind about your purchase then please send the goods back within 14 days and we will process your refund and you will be responsible for return shipping back to us.

In the unlikely event your item develops a fault during the warranty period Hids Direct will replace any failed part. You must return the item with a completed Hids Direct returns form or a covering letter with invoice number & containing the relevant information. This form can be obtained by giving us a call on 0161 793 9236 or completing the contact form below to receive a pdf version in reply.

Once the faulty parts are received we will send your replacement parts. Any product warranty does not apply to any defect in the goods arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, accident, negligence by you or any third party, use otherwise than as recommended by the supplier, failure to follow the suppliers instructions, or any alteration or repair carried out without the suppliers approval.

Please note that a replacement part cannot be supplied until the faulty part has been received and tested. The method you choose to send the part back to us is not important, as long as we receive however we recommend using Royal Mails 1st class recorded service as this would cover both us and yourselves with a tracking number.
