Unlike a DRL-only conversion board, this version incorporates the LED light sources used for both the daytime running light and indicator functions. Yellow DRL + Indicator Function

These boards contain the LED light sources used by the compatible headlight for both the daytime running light and turn-indicator functions.

Direct Internal Replacement

These boards are designed as replacement internal light-source PCBs for the compatible original BMW headlight assembly.

The original headlight housing, optical light guides and associated electronics are retained. Compatibility must be confirmed by comparing the original module number, PCB shape, connector arrangement and mounting points.

Installation

These are internal headlight components and installation requires access to the existing LED light-source boards within the headlamp.

Installation should be carried out by a competent automotive lighting technician or suitably experienced person. The headlight may need to be opened or partially dismantled depending on its construction.

Before installation, compare the replacement boards carefully with the original components. Any thermal interface material, heat-transfer compound or sealing materials disturbed during installation should be renewed as appropriate for the original headlight construction.

This product modifies the original daytime running light colour of the vehicle. Lighting regulations vary between countries and the modified yellow DRL appearance may not comply with road-lighting or vehicle type-approval requirements in every market.

For UK/ECE-type-approved road applications, daytime running lamps are normally required to emit white light. The yellow DRL conversion should therefore be regarded as a styling / show modification unless its use is permitted under the applicable regulations.

The vehicle's indicator function must continue to operate in accordance with the applicable road-lighting regulations following installation.
