Vehicle Compatibility

This RGB conversion kit is intended for compatible LCI / facelift vehicles fitted with the matching Adaptive LED headlight system and original module configuration associated with 63117493229 / 63117493230.

Four High-Grade Aluminium RGB LED Boards

The conversion uses a matched four-board system covering both headlights.

Large 5-pin boards:
2 supplied – one left and one right.
Approximate dimensions: 53 mm long × 23 mm wide × 2 mm deep.

Small 2-pin boards:
2 supplied – one left and one right.
Approximate dimensions: 35 mm long × 23 mm wide × 2 mm deep.

The boards are manufactured from high-grade aluminium PCB material, helping transfer heat away from the LED components while providing a rigid mounting platform inside the headlight.

Complete RGB Controller & Wiring System

Unlike a standard replacement DRL board, this conversion includes a dedicated RGB control system. The controller is connected between the vehicle/headlight wiring and the replacement RGB LED boards, allowing colour and lighting modes to be controlled from your smartphone.

The supplied wiring harness uses dedicated connectors for the LED boards and vehicle-side connection, reducing the need to modify the factory wiring loom.

Installation

This is an internal headlight modification. Although the electrical system is designed around plug-and-play style connectors, installation requires access to the internal LED boards inside each headlamp.

The headlight assemblies may need to be removed, opened and correctly resealed after installation. For this reason, we strongly recommend installation by an experienced automotive lighting technician or headlight specialist.

Always disconnect the vehicle battery where appropriate and observe suitable anti-static precautions when handling electronic headlight components.

RGB Lighting & Road Use

The app includes a white lighting mode, but modification of the original headlight does not in itself constitute approval for road use. Always ensure your completed installation complies with the regulations applicable to your vehicle and location.

Does this kit convert both headlights?

Can I select different colours?

Can the angel eyes still display white?
Yes. White is available as one of the selectable lighting options.

Does the kit work with every F32, F33 or F36 headlight?
No. BMW fitted several different headlight systems. This kit is intended for compatible LCI Adaptive LED headlights using the matching 63117493229 / 63117493230 configuration.

Will it fit BMW M3 and M4?
Compatible applications include selected F80 M3 LCI and F82/F83 M4 LCI vehicles fitted with the corresponding Adaptive LED headlight configuration. Always check the existing module and headlight before ordering.

Is installation simply plug and play?
The supplied electrical harness is designed around plug-and-play style connectors, but the LED boards are located inside the headlight. Headlight removal, opening and resealing may therefore be required.

Are the coloured RGB modes road legal?
Non-white front-facing lighting colours are intended for show/off-road/private-property use. It is the vehicle owner's responsibility to comply with applicable road-traffic regulations.
